    DirtQuake: Women's Class Flashback

    Photographer Rachel Billings shared these photos, that she shot for Hedon Helmets, earlier this week, and they brought back some great Dirt Quake memories. This was the last one at King's Lynn, the last one the original DQ team had a big hand in organising, but it was after the name had been acquired by North One TV.     It's better to live...

    ...a lap as a lion than a lifetime as a lamb. Thanks to Bill from Canada for reminding us of his one and only lap of Dirt Quake USA, held at the famous Castle Rock track in Washington state.     Dying Breed

    With the news of the Death of Rye House Speedway Track, there are now five UK Speedway tracks I've raced at in the 15 or so years I've been flat tracking that are now closed, and don't look like reopening. While having a quick search of the status of Coventry Stadium aka Brandon Stadium, I found these photos on a local paper's website, taken by Neil Logan.     Warm, Fuzzy Memory

    Reminiscing post from Dave Skooter Farm Woke up to a warm and fuzzy memory. Over the years we did a bunch of wild DIrt Quake events both here in the UK and also the USA. It was ALWAYS guaranteed fun times but this particular one (DQ III, 2014) sticks in my mind as alongside organisational duties, I actually found time to race in the Chopper class. My bike, a 1979 Suzuki GS750 'Pig-Dog' lived up to it's name and only ran on 2 of the 4 cylinders throughout all my heat races but
