    Sideburn's house band, The Stags are back in circulation, and playing in London next Saturday, at Buzzsaw Joint, Strongroom Bar, Shoreditch. We've already got tickets, and they are, like the band's fashion sense, from a bygone time at just £4. What to expect - Hammond organ-driven, 1960s-flavoured floor-fillers; witty repartee between the songs; Dave Skooter Farm on bass; stylish yet anachronistic crowd; some kitchen sink sex fizz supplied by lead singer Topsy Stag.     Post in from Dave Skooter Farm Despite Covid 19’s best efforts, this event is taking place (social distancing rules to be applied) on a fantastic cycle speedway track. Organised in part by Sideburn’s entertainment officer, Dave Skooter Farm, it’s a charity event, raising money for The Alzheimer’s Society and RSPCA.     Warm, Fuzzy Memory

    Reminiscing post from Dave Skooter Farm Woke up to a warm and fuzzy memory. Over the years we did a bunch of wild DIrt Quake events both here in the UK and also the USA. It was ALWAYS guaranteed fun times but this particular one (DQ III, 2014) sticks in my mind as alongside organisational duties, I actually found time to race in the Chopper class. My bike, a 1979 Suzuki GS750 'Pig-Dog' lived up to it's name and only ran on 2 of the 4 cylinders throughout all my heat races but
