The presentation for the 2021 Indian Motorcycle DTRA Nationals took place on Saturday night and it was a great time, showing, yet again, what a great club the DTRA is.
Krazy Horse, Bury St Edmunds hosted the event. They're long time supporters of Sideburn, and the DTRA, they race, and are one of Europe's longest established Indian dealers. To see Paul, the owner, and staff there on a Saturday night, when they could be doing literally anything else, was a great example of what a fantastic part of the biking community they are.
Indian Motorcycle UK management and key staff had also travelled across country to be at the presentation. Indian are other long-term supporters of professional and grassroots dirt track around the world.
Racers and their friends and family travelled from all over the UK for the night, to catch up with friends they only normally see at the races.

'Texas' Chris Jenner secured back-to-back Thunderbike titles on his Rotax-powered CCM roadbike.
James 'Leftie' Smith was joint second on points, but ended up 3rd due to count up of results (I think). Potential 2022 champ. We featured his Co-Built Rotax Thunderbike framer in Sideburn 42 (available as a Back Issue Bundle)
Big David Webb won the Sideburn Vintage Four-stroke title on his stock frame Triumph.
Simon Bird won the Sideburn Vintage Two-Stroke class on his Yamaha DT360. His partner, Emily, race is also racing in the Vintage class for 2022, on a similar Yamaha DT.
Max Vanoni and Jack Bell of the Devitt's Vanoni Ducati Hooligan team celebrating winning the title. Jack was one of the champs to also walk away with a brand new helmet donated by Bell.

Rookie champ James Woodroffe, an award-winning TV director. No, really. James and the other top Rookies move up to the Inters group this year, leaving the Rookie class open for newcomers to battle for the title.
There were a few special awards: Lei North won Rider of the Year. Joey Brindley won the Caylee Hankins Spirit of DTRA award. John Harrison was the photographer's choice, and Marcie Skipp (below) won the Future of Flat Track award.
The fabulous Skipp family. Always a pleasure to see this lot at the races. Wilbur wrote a piece on him and his old bike in Sideburn 35, the bike that Marcie now races. Sib35 is also available in a Back Issue Bundle.
Our own Max Inman won the mini bike stock title, and Toby Hales won the Pro class. The Pro class podium was an all Lincolnshire affair - 1. Toby Hales. 2. Jack Bell. 3. Jordan Miller.
Winners were awarded goodies from Biltwell, Rock Oil, framed photos by Braking Point Images, MotoClean, Sideburn, Bennett's Insurance, Krazy Horse, and Indian Motorcycle.
It's always great to see people in our merch, especially people as enthusiastic about racing as Lizzie and Joe Banks.
Thanks to the presentation being held in Krazy Horse HQ there's plenty of bikes to have a good look at.
