Over The Top is the first Italian Flat Track Championship mainly for classic and cool retro’ bikes. It includes four races in which riders from all over Europe will compete crosswise. The OVER THE TOP championship is the world's first 80s sci-fi -themed flat track championship and we have created a story around the 4 races of the 2018 edition set in a post-apocalyptic future.
The OVER THE TOP championship gives you the chance to experience the thrill of racing on a real Flat Track with your old off-road bike.
The Heroes, Classic and Top Twin categories require no specific technical feature. Just remove the front brake and have tyres with knobs no deeper than 8 mm -and you are ready to race.
1 – HEROES: motorcycles manufactured until 1985
2 – CLASSIC: air cooled bikes built until 2010 and liquid-cooled bikes built until 2000
3 – TURBO: modern off-road bikes from 2000 to 2018. Require 19in wheels
4 – TOP TWIN: Twin motor, over 750cc
In order to participate in the OVER THE TOP Championship, a sports doctor's visit is mandatory to obtain a valid annual ASI license for all stages of the Championship.
OVER THE TOP championship will be developed in four stages in the famous Lonigo circuit in the province of Vicenza.
