DirtQuake's new owners, North One Television, have partnered with Harley-Davidson. Here's what the press release says...
Harley-Davidson is now the official Global Motorcycle Partner of DirtQuake for all events on dirt, sand or snow around the world. This follows North One Television’s recent acquisition of DirtQuake and the announcement of the television company’s plan to expand the show into a global brand.
Harley-Davidson has a strong commitment to the grass roots racing philosophy of DirtQuake – as a company its own DNA was laid down by the exact same competitive spirit – and supporting events such as Flat-Out Friday, Hooligan Racing and the Mama Tried event (which takes place in Harley-Davidson’s domestic market) is key in connecting with an important new demographic of both the riders taking part and those looking on.
Trevor Barton, Harley-Davidson International Consumer Experience Manager, looks forward to the partnership: “Harley-Davidson is really excited to support DirtQuake. All of its events cut right through to the heart of the simple enjoyment of riding motorcycles – which, really is what H-D is all about, and we look forward to seeing everyone on the grid at DirtQuake events very soon!”
Commenting on the partnership, Neil Duncanson, CEO, North One Television, said “We are delighted to welcome Harley-Davidson to DirtQuake and look forward to the fun we’ll have together. For a prestigious brand like Harley-Davidson to back North One’s vision for the future of DirtQuake, at this early stage, attests to the potential reach of the event. We hope fans of Harley and DirtQuake worldwide will enjoy what we produce together, both live at a DirtQuake event and on the TV show.”
