Here's an off-topic post to ease you back into work/the new year.
Wednesday is an Addams Family spin-off series on Netflix. It's directed by Tim Burton and feels like it's aimed at a teen audience. It was something I watched with my teenage daughter. It wasn't Tim Burton enough for my liking, but I still enjoyed. The standout was when the eponymous fun-hating loaner, Wednesday Addams, cut loose at the school dance. What makes it is the song, Goo Goo Muck by The Cramps, and the mad abandon of the formerly extremely self-contained and emotionless character (she barely even blinks in the whole series).
Apparently there are imitators all over TikTok, doing the Wednesday dance, but I suspect readers of the Sideburn blog may not be all over TikTok, so it was worth sharing. GI
