There is a big asterisk, because no one knows how the Covid-19 situation might develop, but American Flat Track has gained enough confidence to release and new 2020 schedule. The 18 races are nine double-headers at nine different locations. Three of the venues are yet to be confirmed. There is nothing west of a yet to be confirmed Texas round.
The season opens at Volusia, Florida, well-known for pre-Daytona non-championship races, but not AMA/AFT rounds.
The season also ends in Florida, Daytona in mid-October - which is being referred to as Daytona Season Finale, not Daytona TT. Riders who have located to Florida (Mees, Halbert, Robinson...) are spoilt, because nearby (in US terms) Georgia has also be retained on the new schedule.

There's no Peoria. Does this help a rider like Bryan Smith, who struggles at TTs? It should help Shayna Texter, though the Singles will race at least one TT, Springfield TT on Friday, September 4.
