'Barn Find' XT500 Flat Tracker for Sale, UK

Another eBay bike brought to our attention by Kev H.

Looks rough but has potential and could race in the DTRA Thunderbike class and other UK series' (not Vintage, though). The seller says 'The engine kicks over with fantastic compression but we have not attempted to start it.'

Why wouldn't you try to start a bike you want to sell except so you could say the above statement? That would ring alarm bells for me. Bidding starts at £1775, and there were no bids at the time of posting.
