I watched Fast and Left with my lad, Rory, a couple of days ago. He's comes racing with me a fair bit and love to pretend on his balance bike anyway, but watching Gary [Kinzler, Lightshoe] making steel shoes obviously made an impression on him and he's been asking me to make one for him.
