Guest blog from Max Inman with his predictions for the Indian Motorcycle DTRA Rounds 3 & 4, Amman Valley. His predictions. have been pretty good so far.
Pros: At Amman Valley’s Half Mile track I’m predicting Toby Hales to come first overall, with Round 1 winner, Gary Birtwistle in second and young gun Jack Bell in third. After seeing these three race at the Half Mile before, there’s no doubting it’ll be a great show.
In the Thunderbike class I predict 2019 Thunderbike champion, Tom Clemans (#42, pictured above) will come out on top, even though this will be his first DTRA race of the season. Series leader Chris Jenner in P2, and another returnee, Westley Agius P3.
No Hooligans class at Amman Valley, so I'll turn to the Sideburn Vintage class. In the four-stroke division I'm choosing Guto Llewelyn, also known as the local hero, to lead, with John Harrison and Rick Bearcroft close behind. In the Vintage two-stroke class I can see Sean Kelly coming first on his TS400 and Bultaco racer, Mike Fisher in second just in front of Simon Bird.
