    Guest post from Russ Holland. Blue Peter was the biggest children's TV programme in the UK from the 1960s to 1980s. It was very wholesome, but quite daring before the invention of risk assessment forms. I had to tell someone... From the days when it was acceptable to take your children's TV presenter, put a wooly hat on him so the bubble visor helmet fits, then send him out in a race on a sidecar outfit.     Let's be frank, we're not mad about sidecars, but there's a time and a place. The time is the middle of winter, the place is Mongolia.
