    Inman Column: Wrenchmonkees Remembered

    I have been writing a column for the French magazine Café Racer for a decade or more, and, when I remember, I post some of them on this blog. Here's one from earlier this year.     Team Wrenchmonkees

    We have been big fans of the Wrenchmonkees from the time they built their very first bikes and have featured them in Sideburn a few times (Sideburn 7, 4 and 2). Now they are supporting a Swedish flat tracker and hooligan racer, Jonathan Falkman. He has competed in the DTRA and has written for Sideburn and featured in Sideburn 26 doing a stand-up wheelie in a a pair of Adidas budgie smugglers.     Our old mates from Copenhagen, the Wrenchmonkees, are still building bikes, but they're also making great clothes, and not just T-shirts. Their workwear-style canvas and denim is the business.
