The 12th edition* of DirtQuake takes place at Eastbourne this weekend. As you may or may not know, Sideburn no longer owns or runs the event that has changed the face of participation bike sport, but we'll be there. We will have a booth selling merch and will also be racing our Harley Sportster hooligan on Saturday and watching the DTRA races to see who walks away with the £1000 prize fund on Friday night. The DTRA are organising a night of racing at Eastbourne as a precursor to DirtQuake. This is what they say... Friday 9 August we are running an open evening meeting ahead of DirtQuake.
It's an open meeting for Pro / Inter / Rookie with no tyre restrictions on 19in wheels.
The Friday night is a fun event (no points towards the DTRA championships) with a prize purse of £1000.
It's an excellent chance to have a race between DTRA championship rounds.

The final round of the 2017 DTRA season took place yesterday at the Arlington Stadium, Eastbourne. Because there are so many members now, the meeting was split into two halves: juniors, minibikes and rookies raced in the morning. Vintage, Restricted, Thunderbikes and Pros in the afternoon. The track was tricky, very little dirt on the surface, sometimes it was marbly, other times it was wet and slick, then for the odd heat race the was a nice high line I had fun riding. One m
